I know this post is extremely overdue, so for that, I sincerely apologize. I would also like to apologize for the poor quality of these photos! However, I showed y’all a sneak peek here, but here’s the real deal, final reveal. I know you’ve just been chomping at the bit to see the finished product….Kidding!
As a refresher, here’s the out-of-the-builder-box BEFORE:
And now the AFTER! It really is amazing what a little bit of paint and new tile can do. It totally transformed what was once a dark and drab kitchen to a light and bright space that I’ll actually feel motivated to cook (or at least pour a glass of wine or two) in.
Here’s a closer look at Bruno’s handy work. I love him more than words.
For inquiring minds that would like to know, I used this tile from Lowe’s. I had to drive all over the greater Austin area to collect all 600+ tiles (he only used about 400+), but it was well worth the effort! I also used this grout. The stainless steel outlet covers are from amazon.com.
Katie it looks AWESOME! Congrats on getting it finished!!
"There's always time for a glass of wine." Love it
It looks GREAT! Love the color of the subway tile!!

I love the it all! The cabinets look great! Ours are currently sitting without doors as I took them off, stripped them, sanded them, and am too scared I'm going to do a bad job painting them. How did you paint yours?
