Earlier today, I was back at Good Day Austin sharing some extremely easy ideas for your next tailgate or game watching party. In case you missed this morning’s segment, click below for the video and then scroll down for more details and information about each project featured. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go drink that Bloody Mary I just made. Cheers to Monday!
These seem to be everywhere on the blogosphere and were extremely easy to replicate. All you need is tissue paper [I also used gold streamers], string and balloons. I purchased this giant balloon [24″ diameter] from BalloonsFast.com. Super cheap–and fast! [per their name…] To make the tassels, check out this step-by-step tutorial.
For those early morning [or afternoon] games, treat your guests to this festive ‘build your own’ bar. Everyone likes their Bloodys a different way, so be sure to provide various condiment options, even different mixes, if you’re feeling fancy! [Shameless plug: You can now order a customized cutting board for the team of your choice from my Etsy shop! No Bloody Mary bar is complete without one, ya know…]
This DIY is insanely simple and can be done in less than 30 minutes! For the full post + step-by-step instructions on how to make one of your own, click here. These are great for any occasion, and would be especially festive to make a “Give Thanks” one for Thanksgiving!
This little project couldn’t be much easier and uses up any leftover burlap you might have from making the aforementioned pennant banner! Winner, winner. For the simple, 3-step ‘how to,’ see my post here.
